  The clerk, Erik, was very disrespectful to me. He treated me as if I was a child. A statement he mentioned to me in our brief interaction was “don’t worry, you’re not that important”. When I first came in, I was not welcomed even though an attendant was right there behind the counter. However, I do not blame her. I blame this on her trainers. I regret not getting her name because she was very helpful in assisting me in finding a bag to put my jerky in. She also mentioned that she will find new bags for customers to put their jerky into - clearly an intelligent young girl that has a bright future ahead of her, regardless of the lack of good coaching by the older attendants on duty. As I was at the checkout with Erik purchasing the jerky, we were interrupted by his register console beeping due to a pump outside waiting approval. The tone he used even over the loud speaker was very demeaning. I won’t be surprised if more complaints come from just his tone towards customers alone. Erik’s statement really resonated with me. CEO, COO, President, Founder, Co-Founder, Owner, Uncle, Son, Brother, and Friend are just some of the titles I hold in my companies and relationships throughout the world. To say to anyone that they are “not that important” is degrading and rude. I was so shocked by his statement I could only laugh and ignore his ignorance. I’m 20 years old, I didn’t become this successful by treating people like trash. Please, reconsider your training process. Lastly, please contact me as I need my receipt. Thank you.
